Dear Family & Friends,

Greetings to you all in the love of our Precious Savior Jesus Christ!  School is now in full swing in Chile and the summer weather seems to keep hanging around.  Similiar to the USA, Chile is experiencing a serious drought which is affecting even the electricity. We are having to take special care with the delicate electrical equipment at the radio since the electricity is now fluctuation, something that may be common in other countries, but not the norm for Chile. Because we have the clearest skies in the world, 300 days/year, many here are turning to solar power since we have a surplus of sun all year round.

RADIO FUEGO

Radio Fuego has been a continual source of edification for the Body of Christ in general of Ovalle. It runs 24/7 with live AM programings (& some PM) and city-wide church assistance, unlike other stations whose main purpose is to encourage people to leave their home church to attend another. We rejoice to have Sis Rosa Lopez as our on-site D.J. & Coordinator.

Recently, Pastor Eliana &  Bro. Claudio(psychologist) shared a program concerning, “Dealing with depression in the life of a Christian”.  Many people called the station, but one call in particular came from “Maria” who stated that she had suffered from cronic depression, even to the point of suicide. But around 6 months ago, she heard Pastor Guillermo minister a message on the radio over depression, and the Lord broke the stronghold in her life and set her free. She was grateful to the Lord for Radio Fuego´s spiritual service to the community, since she attends a different church and stated that few churches here deal with the problem of depression amongst Christians.

OUTDOOR EVANGELISM

Daniela, a recent convert through outdoor evangelism, came to our house asking prayer. Her eight year old daughter had been sexually abused in the past and had POSITIVE for HIV. We prayed & used a home remedy, doing everything in our power to confront this situation. She took a second test and the results were: NEGATIVE. God is so good!

Thank you for standing with us and this ministry with your gifts of generosity & love as we continue to see the Hand of God move mightily changing the faces in Chile. Again, thank you!
