Dear Family & Friends,

 

Blessings to you in Jesus our Lord! This month we wanted to let pictures tell the story. The well at Point of Blessings Rehab now measures around 162 ft deep and drilling has come to a halt. We are urgently in need of properly reinforcing the inside walls with wooden boards to prevent cave-ins. The job had been started, but was not done correctly nor finished. A local mining/well expert will secure the walls for us to prevent any disaster from occurring, especially since this area is very seismic.   

 

Text Box: These men are part of the drilling team; they take turns manually letting down to drill & lifting each other out of the well, as well as lifting up the bucket with rocks  after drill.

 

                                                              

Text Box: Farther down is where the well is becoming unstable. Some supports were put in place but were not down correctly. We must fortify the walls to prevent cave-ins, loss of lives & loss of the well.

 

             

 

              

 

We rejoice as we consider all the families & the community that will be directly & indirectly affected as men will be rescued from addictive life style & restored through the power of Jesus Christ. Thank you for standing with us as we move forward to finish the work set that the Lord has set before us. You are a vital part of this work & we give thanks to Jesus for you. Your prayers, gifts, and words of encouragement are a tremendous source of strength. Again, thank you: we love & appreciate you!
